Well, here it is: A Blog for those that are leading (or plan to lead) a seeker small group. What is a seeker small group? A gathering of non-Christians and one or two Christian facilitators who meet on a regular basis to engage in spiritual discussions. This entails empathic evangelism, which is the process of guiding non-Christians to self-discover biblical truths by seeking first to understand through asking great questions and listening REALLY well.
Most likely, you arrived here by invitation after attending one of Garry Poole's seeker small group conferences or reading his book entitled, Seeker Small Groups. You are interested in connecting with others that are engaged in this form of outreach for encouragement, wisdom, and support. This Blog is intended to be interactive in nature, much like the seeker small group that you are leading. It's not intended to be focused on a particular leader, but on a process of self-discovery on how to effectively engage in dialogue with spiritual seekers and help them to discover for themselves who God is.
Thank you for joining us! Say hello in the comments section and begin telling us YOUR stories of what God is doing through this form of outreach. Garry and I would love to hear from you! - Mary
